About Q-Net |
The Early Childhood Quality Network (Q-Net) is located at The Ohio State University and housed within an interdisciplinary center in the College of Education. Q-Net staff and consultants are drawn from several previous Federal and state funded projects that provided training and technical assistance (T/TA) to Head Start grantees and early childhood programs. Consultants are located in four states at the present time: Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. |

T/TA services are offered on a fee basis to early childhood programs, their staff, and families. Utilizing approaches built upon current research, best practice, effective technology, and a strong commitment to children and families, Q-Net supports the capacity of early childhood programs to provide high quality services. Technology planning, training, and support services are offered to help early childhood programs take advantage of computers and networking services. A free news service and a wealth of useful information and resources are disseminated through the Q-Net web portal. Participation in a variety of professional development activities will be made available on the web portal through membership fees. The Q-Net leadership and Advisory Board are currently seeking additional funding from federal and state agencies and private foundations. Our goal is to offer a wide variety of services funded through grants as well as fee-based membership and T/TA services. For additional information, contact: Dennis Sykes, Director | ||||||||||||
